No Stress In 10 Minutes

1. Doing nothing

At least once during the day, take 5 to 10 minutes to sit quietly and do
nothing. Focus on the sounds around you, your emotions and any tension
neck, shoulders, arms, chest, etc.

2. Christmas Party

Keep on hand something that makes you laugh. It could be a collection of your
Favorite comic strips, or email fun, say, your child or a friend.
You can even take a moment to think about seeing their favorite comedy
series. In turn this from time to time during the day.

3. Tune in

When faced with a daunting task, listening to soothing music - whether classical,
country or jazz. At work you can use the CD drive on your computer to keep
the music at hand.

4. Think happy

Focus on someone or something you care deeply about 15 to
seconds to 5 minutes. Or the image of a peaceful holiday scene. A phrase
that makes you feel positive about themselves and the world can work.

5. Hit The Road

Get up from your desk, the couch - wherever you are - and take Oct. 1
minute walk.

6. Breathe Easy

For 5 minutes, slow your breathing down to about 6 breaths a deep belly
minute. In other words, inhale for 5 seconds, exhale for 5.

7. Quiet place

Just before bed, and after the alarm goes off in the morning, take 5
minutes to relax your entire body. Begin by tensing your toes, consciously
relax. Skip to the muscles of the feet, then calves, upper
legs move upward until finally crumpling and then relax
the muscles in your face. . .
